  • Set up your energiser and fixings according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • Position 3 of your insulators/fixings to the width you require inside of the stable door & your e-bungee to its gate break insulator ensuring your live feed from the energiser is connected to this.

  • Hang your e-stall guard up.

  • Once you switch your power on, your e-stall guard is conducting a pulse and ready for training.

Mains Energiser

Instructions for e-Stall guard using a Portable Energiser

  • Set up your energiser and fixings according to the manufacturer’s instructions,  placing your unit as close to the door.

  • Position all 4 or your insulators/fixings to the width and position you require.

  • Hang your e-Stall guard up and clip your Red crocodile clip {positive} to reach the eyelet on the e-Stall guard. Your Green crocodile clip{negative} to earth.

  • Once switched on, your e-stall guard is conducting a pulse and ready for training.

*Most energisers indicate positive and negative, some will identify these as colours. Red for positive and typically Green for negative.  Energisers will also require a grounding earth steak.  Please refer to your user manuals.

*Please note you can use any alternative to hang your e-stall guard if using a portable energiser. This includes Bailer Twine!

Entry & Exit

  • For entry or exit, remember to turn off your Energiser power before leading your horse in or out of the stable.

  • Once satisfied with the outcome you can if you wish use the decoy PIR Sensor to replace the energiser. (follow instructions on how to operate the sensor)

PLEASE NOTE DO NOT USE THE SENSOR WHILST THE ENERGISER AND

e-STALL GUARD HAS A CURRENT RUNNING THROUGH IT.  IT IS LIKELY TO DAMAGE THE SENSOR.

Using the decoy sensor

The decoy Sensor can be used by slipping the clip over the top edge of the e-stall guard or in a proximity where you want it to detect movement either on the sound imitation of the energiser noise or your own voice recorded message.  A shout of the name will certainly get their attention as well as some humouring and pranking around your environment.

The decoy sensor can be used in many other situations.  Try using your pre-recorded voice or sound in an area you wish your dog or cat not to undertake any unwanted behaviour, such as digging up certain areas of your garden maybe?

We are sure you will come up with many other uses too!
