Our Story

e-Stall Guard & Sensor

Our Flagship product the e-Stall guard & Sensor has a patent pending. It is a great solution and training item discouraging any unwanted behaviour or just getting the animals attention away from whatever they may be conducting.

An easy installation process and also portable to take away with you to shows or events.   It is a handy bit of kit to use in whatever unwanted behaviour you wish to use it for.

We also make the e-Crib guard which discourages crib biting once hung over or in front of a stable door and the e-Stallion drape which can be hung or draped at the top of walls or railings to stop interaction with the neighbouring horse.  This is especially useful when staying away at events in temporary stabling.   The e-guards also make a very neat regular stall guard or stable curtain/drape without the use of the pulse.

The sensor or as we call it the Decoy sensor, mimics the sound of an energiser that you use for electric fencing.  It is designed to trick and train the animal into thinking that the e-Stall guard is switched on.

It also has a novelty feature of recording your voice if you wish to activate a specific sound you prefer,  thus getting the attention of your four legged friend or in more jovial situations, hiding it somewhere and surprising your work colleagues or Boss!

TED

Ted was purchased from Ireland (Cloonkeen) and even at the age of 3 when viewed  from his isolated field and stable in Ireland in the middle of nowhere he wanted you to know his presence!   A very, very loud door kicker!  Despite this very annoying vice we went ahead with purchase and after bringing him home to Leicestershire that habit came back with him despite living his best life with plenty of hours out grazing in the field, short times being stabled, plentiful fodder and even lots of stimulation of what was going on in his surroundings from his stable view.  Nothing was going to stop this habit and we were hearing him morning, noon and night if he were stabled.

To avoid any long term injury to himself and to the stable, the idea of a stall guard came to mind that would trick train him into thinking he might get a shock if contact be made.  Like any stall guard it sits behind the stable door either open or closed and upon first contact, usually by investigating by a sniff or rub or leaning into they will in turn get a pulse from it as they would from an electric fence out in the field.   Once the e-Stall guard is disconnected from any electric source you can clip the ‘decoy’ sensor over the top of the e-Stall guard in the centre or in a position you think ideal, and once switched on it will within a short distance when approached start imitating the noise of an elective fence energiser.

Ted is now kick free and we get a good night's sleep not listening to him.  He is a happy horse in his stable looking out of his window or over the e-Stall guard and saving himself from any injuries to himself and our door and sanity!

Other areas Of Use

The e-stall guard has also been a game changer from hanging on the back of walls or around a perimeter of chosen areas that you wish to deter behavioural issues from.  Ideal for Stallions, home and away, sheep, cattle etc. It resolves many issues in keeping everything intact before and after your show preparation and also breaking annoying habits such as tail and mane rubbing and so by breaking the cycle and training your four legged friend not to rub if susceptible to sweet itch or other issues.

Perfect for many stable types, outdoor environments and professional yards where grooms that live on site can have a peaceful nights sleep or lie in on their day off and not having to make early breakfasts even earlier! It also saves issues where your horse may be on box rest and will prevent further injury.
